Zusammenfassung:The effect of Ru on the creep behavior of two kinds of single-crystal Ni-base superalloys was studied at 750 °C and 750 MPa to discern the benefit of Ru as a strengthening element. The addition of Ru decreased the primary creep strain and improved the creep strength. Further, the addition of Ru enhanced the dissociation of dislocations in the matrix channels. This inhibited the nucleation of the stacking fault ribbons and, as a result, impeded the operation of {111}〈112〉 slip.
