Comments on “A Physical Interpretation of von Kármán’s Constant Based on Asymptotic Considerations—A New Value”

Since Bergmann's prediction that K=0.3679 is in line with recent data from the atmospheric surface layer suggesting that k is significantly smaller than the traditional value .40, Andreas and Trevino forsee his model's being used as theoretical justification for these smaller k values. But such an argument would be fallacious because of the shortcomings in that model.
