Zusammenfassung:With laser-additive processing, the shape and dimensions of the part being manufactured remain unchanged because no binder removal or sintering is required. The goal of the process is to make a component in its net or near-net shape. Two variations of laser-additive processing are LENS (laser-engineered net shaping) and LasForming. Laserengineered net shaping strives to make a part in its final dimensions with a smooth surface finish requiring no machining.
