Time trends of chlordane, DDT, and PCB concentrations in pike (Esox lucius) and Baltic herring (Clupea harengus) in the Turku Archipelago, northern Baltic Sea for the period 1971-1982

Graphs and tables are used to report the results of experiments which were carried out to investigate the time trends of concentrations of chlordane, DDT and PCB found in samples of pike (Esox lucius) and Baltic herring (Clupea harengus), collected in the northern Baltic sea between 1971 and 1982. It is shown that while the levels of DDT and PCB are decreasing in the Baltic fish studied, the concentrations of chlordane are increasing. A bibliography of 6 references is appended.
