Zusammenfassung:A chlorhexidine medicated tulle gras dressing was evaluated using in vitro tests and an animal burn wound model. Although the dressing gave small zones of inhibition in the in vitro test, it was shown to be effective in preventing the bacterial colonization of experimental burn wounds. We conclude that in vitro tests alone are inadequate for the evaluation of this type of dressing.
