Zusammenfassung: | Osseous sarcoid has been reported to occur in 1%-36% of cases of sarcoidosis. While the common sites of involvement are the hands and feet, the skull, nose, spine, pelvis, and long bones are more rarely involved. To the authors' knowledge, there is a single case report of sarcoidosis involving the ribs, with a primary sclerotic appearance. An unusual case of rib involvement is reported in a patient with sarcoidosis presenting as pain secondary to a nontraumatic fracture at the site of a lytic lesion. |
