Zusammenfassung:Several 125I-iodinaled estrone derivatives were prepared and tested as potential tracers for the radioimmunoassay of estrone. Two gave satisfactory binding with sensitive standard curves. Plasma concentrations measured with these tracers were not in agreement with values obtained using 3H-labelled estrone. This rendered them unsuitable for use in a routine assay.
