Zusammenfassung: | Corneal endothelial damage caused by two levels of laser energy was studied in albino rabbits. Our observations indicate that focal, non-invasive destruction of the endothelium can be consistently generated by laser treatment following anterior chamber localization of fluorescein. The dose related effects of this described protocol will make it possible to study different aspects of posterior corneal function without generating invasive, inflammatory side effects. |
