Effect of adrenaline, acetylcholine and histamine on pseudocholinesterase (EC 3.1.1.8) activity in blood plasma of quails

Intramuscular injection of adrenaline and acetylcholine (2 μg/100 g body wt) after 1 min significantly increased the activity of pseudocholinesterase in plasma of quails. Histamine (2 μg/100 g body wt) did not influence this enzyme activity.
