Zusammenfassung: | A 39-year-old woman presented with progressive fatigue, anorexia, and weight loss. When a pelvic mass and left hydronephrosis were discovered, a malignant process was thought to be the most likely diagnosis. After surgical exploration, however, the clinical picture was found to be the result of 2 unrelated benign conditions, one that was common — leiomyomata uteri — and one that was uncommon — malacoplakia. |
