Zusammenfassung:	The present work details the activity of SLE sera in a solid phase assay for anti-histone antibodies. This assay was recently compared to the immunofluorescence histone reconstitution method and was shown to be capable of detecting a considerably wider variety of anti-histone antibodies than previously described. However, the results indicated that most SLE sera had reactivity to only certain histones, and that enhanced reactivity was detected to a specific histone complex.
