Zusammenfassung: | Longitudinal chromatic aberration of the eye was measured objectively with a retinoscope used in conjunction with coloured filters. Chromoretinoscopy performed on subjects fixating at distance and near show that red is the wavelength in focus at distance (6 m) and green at near (0.33 m). This phenomenon appears to be responsible for the discrepancy between the expected and the measured results found when retinoscopy is performed on an eye fixating at near. |
