Zusammenfassung: | A case of polysplenia with spontaneous infarction of one of the four spleens is presented. The diagnosis was made by computed tomography (CT), which demonstrated the multiple aberrant right sided spleens, with an area of low attenuation representing infarction of one of the spleens. The associated anomalies of prominent azygos and hemiazygos veins secondary to absence of the suprarenal portion of the inferior vena cava were also seen on CT. |
