Zusammenfassung:Career education for hearing-impaired students has become an issue of increasing importance and concern. The present study reviews the current state of the art of career education for deaf children and reports the results of a survey of 64 residential schools. The survey focused on ten aspects of career education programs including objectives, details of program implementation, program content, special needs, environmental factors, and occupational choices.
