Thyrotoxicosis incidence in Switzerland and benefit of improved iodine supply

Data suggest that full correction of iodine deficiency leads to a greatly decreased incidence of thyrotoxicosis, in addition to the disappearance of goitre, cretinism, and minor deficiencies of intellect.
