Zusammenfassung:The rapid spread of the Internet has increased the awareness on the importance of cryptography, in its use of authentication and security technology. With the development of the global information infrastructure (GII), the general principles of cryptography are established. Cryptographic methods should be trustworthy and be developed in response to the needs, demands and responsibilities of individuals, business and governments. National cryptography policies may allow lawful access to plain text or cryptographic keys, of encrypted data. Users should have the right to choose any cryptographic methods. Technical standards, criteria and protocols for cryptographic methods should be developed and governments should cooperate in coordinating policies.
