Zusammenfassung:Robert Traub, the world's foremost authority on fleas and flea-borne diseases and one of the most accomplished and respected medical entomologists of his generation, was closely associated with the Journal of Medical Entomology from its founding in 1964. He served on the Journal's editorial board from 1964 to 1988, and many of his most important contributions graced its pages. Because this issue of the Journal of Medical Entomology is dedicated to him. we provide here a bibliography of his scientific publications. Just a glance at this list, which contains papers on fleas, mites, mosquitoes, leeches, even amebiasis, as well as on a vast range of host vertebrates, will instantly evidence Dr. Traub's central role in the history of 20th century parasitology. The list totals 207 citations spanning the years 1944-1998.
