Zusammenfassung:Ribonuclease S-peptide modified with two thyroxinyl groups showed 47% ribonuclease activity in the complementation with S-protein. Rabbit thyroxine antiserum brought about full activation of the complex. The effect can be used for determination of thyroxine concentration in the 0.1 to 0.5 μM range. The result is discussed as a new approach to enzyme immunoassay.
