Zusammenfassung:Methods and findings are reported from a dietary survey which compared the dietary intake of men with high alcohol intake with that of a control group in a normal Finnish population. The purpose of the study was to determine if alcohol consumption has an effect on food and nutrient intake. Tables show the statistics. No direct relationship between alcohol intake and dietary intake was established. It is possible that moderate alcohol intake alone would not have any particular effect on food consumption.
