Zusammenfassung:Using the mosquito Aedes aegypti , adult esterase bands were demonstrated on horizontal polyacrylamide gels. Crossing experiments indicated that codominant alleles control the production of these esterases and that the locus concerned is situated on linkage group II, 29 map units from spot (s) and I map unit from adult dieldrin resistance (R super(dl)).
