Zusammenfassung: | Chemosurgery in its original form of serial excisions of tissue fixed by a paste of zinc chloride and later modified to excisions of unfixed fresh tissue was developed for extirpations of cutaneous malignancies under histologic monitoring. The technique is, however, more versatile than that and we herewith report an unusual use of it to eradicate a nidus of infection with tetanus bacilli. |
