Fluorogenic substrate assays for factors VIII and IX: Introduction of a new solid phase fluorescent detection method

Fluorescent substrate end point assays for factors VIII and IX are described using a new solid phase front surface fluorescent detection method. The method is both precise and sensitive. The accuracy of the method was demonstrated by comparison of values obtained by standard one-step APTT factor assays of hemophilic plasma samples.
