Immunomodulation by the new synthetic compound BM 12.531, 2-[2-cyanaziridinyl-(1)]-[2-carbamoylaziridinyl-(1)]-propane (azimexone)

Azimexone, a 2-cyanaziridine-derivative, has immunomodulating properties. These properties are demonstrated: by a stimulation of the delayed type hypersensitivity; by a modulation of the antibody formation; by a stimulation of macrophage activity; and, by a stimulation of spleen cell proliferation.
