Zusammenfassung: | The single radial haemolysis technique has been improved by including a central trough for complement in the agarose plate containing sensitised chick erythrocytes. The advantages are that the complement diffuses with the serum samples, significantly reducting the time required, thus minimising autohaemolysis and increasing storage ability. In addition, the amount of complement required is much reduced.
The application of this modification to detection of antibodies against Newcastle Disease virus is described. |
