Zusammenfassung: | The availability of and access to AZT by people with HIV infection is discussed, drawing on the work of Rawls (1971) and Wakefield (1988), to present a theoretical framework from which the social work response might proceed. Fear, misinformation, insufficient resources and the feelings of helplessness and powerlessness that are often associated with AIDS and HIV have prevented many social workers from engaging in the battle against the disease. |
