Zusammenfassung:Cooperating catalysts: The combined single‐site/dispersed‐metal catalyst [Rh(cod)(sulphos)]–Pd0/SiO2 (cod=cyclooctadiene; sulphos=−O3S(C6H4)CH2C(CH2PPh2)3) is more efficient than the dispersed‐metal catalyst Pd0/SiO2 for the hydrogenation of arenes to cycloalkanes. The grafted rhodium moieties and the palladium particles in [Rh(cod)(sulphos)]–Pd0/SiO2 cooperate to speed up the hydrogenation of arenes (see scheme).
