Zusammenfassung: | A mercury lamp and radiometer can be used in the solar-blind UV to conduct transmittance measurements of the ozone qualities over about 1-km paths in the lower atmosphere. Good agreement has been thus obtained between the radiometric and chemiluminescence methods of ozone measurement, and the predicted correlation between NO(x) and O3 concentrations has been experimentally confirmed. The method used features long path averaging, high SNR both diurnally and nocturnally, high sensitivity and accuracy, and flexibility of relative measurement. (O.C.) |
