Tuning of a narrow linewidth pulsed dye laser with a Fabry-Perot and diffraction grating over a large wavelength range
It is shown that the motion of a diffraction grating and an air-spaced Fabry-Perot interferometer in a Haensch-type dye laser can be synchronized. A nitrogen-pumped dye laser built according to this principle was capable of resolving the iodine spectra over more than 30 nm. Result and error sources...
