Zusammenfassung:Dispersion analysis of the reflection spectra for E parallel to b and a-c (monoclinic) plane yields values of the principal complex refractive indices in the ir. Oscillator parameters, presented with formulas for calculating the optical constants at any desired ir frequency, show the usefulness of the optical constants for modeling the ir properties of powders, using gypsum and spodumene as examples.
