Zusammenfassung:The alkaloid composition of the aerial parts and roots of Physalis peruviana was analysed by capillary GC (GC(2)), GC(2)-MS and GC(2)-FTIR. Eight alkaloids were identified, three of those alkaloids are 3beta-acetoxytropane and two N-methylpyrrolidinylhygrine isomers, which were not previously found in the genus Physalis. A reproduction of the identification of alkaloids detected in the plant by the use of retention indices has been proposed.
