Zusammenfassung:Demonstrated is a stable single-frequency lasing in ultrashort Er super(3+):Yb super(3+) P-Si FFP lasers with continuous wavelength tuning over 3.33 nm. Wavelength tuning range is extended and output is increased using compound-cavity Fiber Fabry-Perot (FFP) configurations. FFP technology offers the unique capability of fabricating short compound-cavity fiber lasers that provide higher output powers and wide discrete wavelength tuning ranges. An alternative three-mirror compound-cavity configuration is investigated to obtain single-frequency lasing with higher output powers and wide tuning ranges.
