Zusammenfassung:Consideration is given to the optical transpose interconnection system (OTIS), which uses a simple pair of lenslet arrays to implement a one-to-one interconnection that is useful for shuffle-based multistage interconnection networks, mesh-of-trees matrix processors, and hypercubes. Input and output planes of a 16 x 4 OTIS, showing major and minor index patterns as well as the transpose mapping of a typical signal pattern, are illustrated. (AIAA)
