Zusammenfassung: | Intussusception is a relatively common problem requiring evaluation and treatment by pediatric surgeons and radiologists. While ileocolic and small bowel intussusceptions are frequently observed, cecocolic intussusception is a rare event, most commonly occurring as a result of a pathologic lead point. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of cecocolic intussusception occurring without an identifiable pathologic lead point or intestinal infection. |
