Zusammenfassung:A case of congenital paroxysmal tachycardia recognized three months prior to the birth of the child at full term is reported. Single daily doses of the equivalent of 0.05 Gm. of digitalis given intramuscularly on three successive days failed to control the tachycardia. Quinidine sulfate in 30 mg. doses by mouth at six-hour intervals was more effective.
