Zusammenfassung:The large number of neurotic patients appearing in convalescent and general hospitals (experience in which installations provides the material for this paper) emphasizes the necessity for a realistic evaluation of the therapeutic interview in the military setting. The authors feel that each therapist must examine with absolute objectivity his own technique in the employment of this vital tool. The procedures and dynamics of psychotherapy are fairly well known; it is the purpose of this paper to review their possibilities in the army situation.
