Zusammenfassung:Summary The addition of as little as 2.5% egg yolk to suspensions of yolk sacs infected with the rickettsiae of epidemic and endemic typhus fever, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and rickettsialpox (R. prowazeki, R. mooseri, R. rkkcttsii, and R. akari) prior to treatment with ether has resulted in antigens with enhanced titers as measured by the complement fixation test.
