Zusammenfassung: | The characteristics and capabilities of two laboratory versions of a fluorosensor system built around N(2) and KrF lasers are compared. Both systems were tested to determine the feasibility of remotely detecting the fluorescent emission of organic effluents associated with coal processing. System performance was measured under daylight and nighttime conditions for both actual effluents and known reference solutions and is predicted for an airborne system. Experiments on a multichannel system are also described. |
