Zusammenfassung:Catch and release: Stable bisaryl hydrazones undergo rapid exchange under mild conditions in the presence of a catalyst (see schematic illustration; b=biotin). This highly efficient hydrazone exchange is useful for the affinity purification of biotinylated proteins on (strept)avidin beads. The method enables the mild elution of label‐exchanged or chemically functionalized proteins.
