Zusammenfassung:Sensitive surfaces: Thin polymer films as applied for sensitive elements of biosensors have been characterized by the combined determination of zeta potential and surface conductivity. Zeta potential versus pH plots indicate the acid–base characteristics of the polymer layers (see graphic). Surface conductivities reveal the accessibility of the interfacial volumes for mobile electrolyte ions.
