Zusammenfassung:Three hundred thirty patients with refractory class HI to IV angina turned down for conventional revascularization were randomized to receive continued medical therapy or percutaneous myocardial revascularization plus medications. At I year, percutaneous myocardial revascularization significantly improved exercise tolerance, angina class, quality of life, and freedom from major adverse cardiac events compared with continued medical treatment.
