Combinations of two of the most studied templates in zeolite synthesis, the tetramethylammonium (TMA+) and tetraethylammonium (TEA+) ions, are employed to synthesize the new species UZM‐4, a stable large‐pore zeolite with the BPH toplogy, and UZM‐5, which has a new framework topology related to zeolite A in two dimensions and large surface cups capable of catalysis of aromatic compounds.
