Zusammenfassung: | The long‐known class of nonclassical complexes containing agostic interactions, XH→M, and coordinated σ bonds, (XH)→M, has recently been joined by a new group of “hydrogen‐free” compounds that exhibit (XY)→M interactions. In addition to those complexes with agostic CC and CSi bonding, the first SiSi σ complexes (see scheme) of group 5 and group 10 transition‐metal elements have been prepared, and their relevance towards SiSi bond‐coupling reactions has been established. |
