Zusammenfassung:Hip dysplasia complicating the hereditary motor and sensory neuropathies is not widely recognised. We describe four patients in whom the neuropathy affected the proximal muscles and we suggest that hereditary motor and sensory neuropathies may be responsible for the failure of the initial treatment of some neonatal dislocated hips.
