Usefulness of percutaneous left ventricular assistance to support high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions

The newly developed Tandem Heart percutaneous left ventricular assist device was utilized as a supportive measure for high-risk coronary stenting. The system provided efficient circulatory assistance with a low incidence of cardiovascular complications.
