Zusammenfassung:A step closer to the ideal oxidation of alcohols: Catalytic oxidation of alcohols in water under atmospheric oxygen was achieved by use of an amphiphilic resin‐dispersion of a nanopalladium catalyst (see scheme). This system combines high catalytic activity owing to the large surface area of the nanoparticles and water‐based reactivity provided by the amphiphilicity of the polystyrene—poly(ethylene glycol) matrix.
