DESIGNCase-comparison study. SETTINGAmbulatory university laboratory. PARTICIPANTSA community sample of 62 individuals with lower limb amputations or paraplegia, 31 with chronic pain and 31 pain-free. INTERVENTIONStandardized lifting and wheel-turning tasks.
