Zusammenfassung: | Primary total knee arthroplasty was performed in four patients with acute intraarticular fractures. All four were at high risk of failure for standard operative and nonoperative treatment because of severe osteopenia, preexisting intraarticular pathology, or a limited life expectancy. All benefited by early pain relief, functional range of motion, and early ambulation, with no early perioperative morbidity. |
