Zusammenfassung: | The cDNA for a novel epidermal surface antigen, ESA, has recently been isolated. The function of this antigen is unknown at present, but it does not share significant homology to other cell surface receptors or molecules. We report here the chromosomal and regional localization of the ESA gene, M17S1, to the long arm of chromosome 17 in the region containing the locus for von Recklinghausen neurofibromatosis (NF1). |
