The transcoronoid threaded wire: an aid to mandibular reconstruction
A new application of a threaded wire (sometimes incorrectly described as a Kirschner wire) is described with the aid of a brief case report detailing its use as a simple temporary fixation device during the reconstruction of a large mandibular defect.
