Zusammenfassung:In 100 consecutive patients with chest pain syndrome and "nonsignificant" coronary artery stenosis, angiographically assessed vasospasm with ergonovine is not rare (5%) and can be efficiently identified noninvasively by ergonovine echocardiography. In simultaneously evaluating angiographic correlates of ergonovine echocardiographic findings, myocardial ischemia. due to coronary vasospasm was related to smaller baseline obstruction diameter and more pronounced response to ergonovine.
